Now hiring for an Aircraft Mechanic to maintain a fleet of ERJ 135 and 145 aircraft at the Quincy Regional Airport Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic Job Description Join our dynamic team as an Aircraft Mechanic, where you will perform line and heavy maintenance on ERJ's 135 and 145's, as well as CRJ 200's. Your role will involve maintaining and repairing a fleet of ERJ 135 and 145 aircraft, including aircraft engines and components, all in accordance with specifications. You will be responsible for documenting maintenance procedures, including component damage and origins. Safety will be a priority in all operational processes and procedures. Responsibilities + Perform daily scheduled and non-scheduled inspections, maintenance, repair, and alterations of aircraft. + Troubleshoot defective aircraft systems and components effectively. + Carry out line maintenance on all incoming and outgoing flights. + Document maintenance procedures, including component damage, origin, and condition. Essential Skills + A&P License + At least 1 year of CRJ or ERJ experience + Ability to work independently Additional Skills & Qualifications + Best candidates will have an A&P and over 3 years of CRJ and ERJ experience. Work Environment This role primarily involves working outside to perform line maintenance. The shift runs Monday through Friday from 7:00pm to 3:30am, though it may vary depending on incoming flights. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Quincy, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
