Truck Assembly Technician

Job Title: Installer Job Description Join our team as an Installer, where you will be responsible for installing new equipment on brand-new trucks. This role involves working with various components such as axles, PTOs, pumps, and air tanks, as well as wiring trucks and running controls into cabs. You will also engage in body swaps, wheelbase adjustments, and perform some custom fabrication and welding. 1st Shift: 8am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday Responsibilities + Install new equipment on new trucks, including axles, PTOs, pumps, and air tanks. + Wire trucks and run controls into cabs. + Perform body swaps and wheelbase adjustments. + Engage in custom fabrication and welding as required. Essential Skills + Strong mechanical inclination. + Experience working on trucks or vehicles. + Basic understanding of repair, diesel engines, hydraulics, brakes, and preventive maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to perform truck and trailer repairs. + Familiarity with welding techniques. + Possession of a basic set of tools is required at some point. Work Environment Work in a clean shop environment with access to electric impacts and electric tools. While electric tools are provided, candidates must have their own basic set of tools. The role involves working exclusively on new trucks, ensuring a fresh and modern work setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clearwater, MN.
