On this team, you will collaborate with a diverse, geographically separated team of technical professionals including software developers, aircraft and hardware engineers, and integration and test engineers. WHO YOU ARE u2022 An experienced Electrical Engineer across a program lifecycle to include experience supporting design milestone reviews. u2022 A candidate with a strong background in systems and electrical engineering, with expertise in requirements development, system design, electrical drawings and specification development, and troubleshooting issues u2022 You will be responsible for participating in the development and presentation of design proposals, detail design and support through the product lifecycle. u2022 You will be responsible for the development of the artifacts in support of the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness WHY JOIN US Joining our team offers you the opportunity to support a join a company and a team where your contributions are valued and you can develop your skills and expertise. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a STEM related discipline u2022 Minimum 9 years of professional experience, or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree u2022 Experience using electrical/electronic test equipment such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, and automated testing equipment for troubleshooting circuit card assemblies and other electrical hardware. u2022 Ability to interpret and read complex electrical schematics for circuit cards assemblies (CCA). u2022 Ability to travel CONUS or OCONUS, as necessary Desired Skills: u2022 Ability to work independently with minimal direction and exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives and approaches u2022 Experience working with a hybrid team in multiple locations u2022 Experience in electrical design in aerospace or a similar industry. u2022 Prior experience with Lockheed Martin programs or similar defense contractors is a plus. u2022 Experience in working with, and providing technical oversight, to subcontracted supplier u2022 Prior experience with two or more major milestone reviews (SRR, SDR, PDR, CDR) u2022 Hardware troubleshooting experience in lab, depot, and production environments u2022 Existing experience and knowledge of military and/or commercial aircraft design and certification u2022 Experience building electrical analysis reports for FAA DER approval Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidateu2019s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
