Description The Legal Practice / Project & Knowledge Analyst supports the ongoing development and enhancement of legal practice management tools, project workflows, and knowledge management systems for our client. This role collaborates with legal, operations, and technology teams to strengthen matter management, streamline knowledge sharing, and boost efficiency across the clientu2019s legal platform. By gathering requirements, mapping workflows, and championing new technologies, the Analyst plays an essential role in optimizing collaboration, resource planning, and client service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Project & Task Support + Partner with attorneys, project leads, and operations teams to identify needs and define requirements for legal project management, knowledge sharing, and support tools. + Assist with and facilitate workshops, process mapping, and design sessions to uncover workflow gaps and support prototyping of more efficient solutions. + Research and evaluate legal technology and knowledge management platforms, and provide recommendations for adoption or enhancement of new solutions. + Develop and present clear documentation, operational reports, and recommendations to address challenges and improve legal team performance. Collaboration & Communication + Work cross-functionally to implement legal project management systems and knowledge repositories that align with our clientu2019s goals. + Act as an intermediary between legal staff and technical experts, ensuring alignment on requirements and effective solution delivery. + Contribute to training and onboarding initiatives for legal teams, encouraging adoption and effective use of new tools and processes. Operational Execution & Maintenance + Create and maintain documentation for workflows, knowledge assets, and project templates that promote consistency and knowledge sharing. + Support the rollout, ongoing maintenance, and optimization of legal technology platforms including project management tools and collaboration systems. + Monitor system usage and effectiveness, capturing user feedback to guide updates and improvements. Continuous Improvement + Analyze feedback and data to identify opportunities for improved legal project management and knowledge sharing processes. + Stay informed on trends in legal operations, knowledge management, and technology, proactively recommending innovative process enhancements. + Help standardize scalable best practices to increase legal team productivity and ensure excellent client service. Requirements Qualifications: Education: + Bacheloru2019s degree strongly preferred. Experience & Skills: + Prior experience in legal operations, project coordination, or knowledge management in a law firm or professional services environment. + Solid understanding of legal workflows, project management methodologies, and best practices for knowledge sharing. + Experience with legal technology solutions such as matter management systems, document automation, or knowledge repositories. + Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, document processes, and participate in implementation or optimization projects. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with an aptitude to translate business needs into actionable solutions. + Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working across legal, operational, and technical teams. + Proficiency with tools such as Excel, Power BI, or SharePoint is a plus. + Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
