Currently Advatech has a position open for a Project Engineer with 8 years of experience with pneumatic valves. Required Qualifications: A minimum of 8 years Project Engineering experience. Experience Design and Modeling of aircraft mechanical and Pneumatic valves and systems. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Recommending design changes when a component doesn't meet criteria. Generating project schedules and cost estimates. Experience as the primary interface with customers, contractors, and vendors. Experience reviewing other engineers' work to maintain a high level of quality. Creating presentations and reports to document results. Preferred Qualifications: Must be a self-starter and understand the need for accuracy, timeliness and quality in assigned work tasks. Knowledge of modeling in Catia. Knowledge of GD&T is a plus. Testing and Test Writing Procedures experience is highly desired. Presenting results to customers during project reviews. Experience brainstorming design concepts a plus. Education Requires a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.
