Job Title: CNC Programmer - Multi-Process ManufacturingLocation: Grand Forks, NDJob Type: Full-TimeExperience Level: Mid-Level Salary: $60,000-$70,000 About the Role We are partnering with a growing, values-driven manufacturing organization in the Grand Forks area to find a CNC Programmer to support a modern, multi-process manufacturing operation. This role is ideal for a hands-on programmer who enjoys collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams while supporting efficient, consistent, and safe production. You’ll play a key role in CNC program development, prove-outs, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment with a strong commitment to quality and innovation. Key Responsibilities Develop, modify, and maintain CNC programs based on engineering drawings, models, and specifications Support new part introductions, engineering changes, and ongoing production needs Provide programming support during setups, first-article runs, and production Troubleshoot program-related issues impacting quality, efficiency, or manufacturability Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure design intent and manufacturing capability Review and refine programs to improve consistency, repeatability, and efficiency Assist with standardizing programming practices, tooling approaches, and setup methodologies Maintain accurate program documentation, setup notes, and revision control Follow established change management, quality, and safety procedures Periodically operate manufacturing equipment to support program development and prove-outs Qualifications 3-7 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment Experience supporting multiple CNC-driven manufacturing processes Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM, SolidWorks CAM, or similar) Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T Comfortable working in a production-focused environment Strong attention to detail and disciplined documentation practices Effective written and verbal communication skills Preferred: Experience with automated or robotic manufacturing processes Familiarity with offline programming and manufacturing software tools Why You’ll Love This Role Modern manufacturing environment with advanced CNC and automated equipment Stable organization with long-term growth opportunities Collaborative, team-oriented culture Opportunity to make a direct impact on manufacturing efficiency and quality Career development and advancement potential To Apply: Submit your resume to This is a confidential search conducted by our agency on behalf of our client.
