Welder

Description The candidate will be responsible for MIG, Fluxcore, and some Stick welding. Candidate will need to be comfortable welding flat, vertical, and overhead positions. They will be responsible for reading and working off blueprints.The candidate will need to provide their own welding hood and gloves.Education. High School Diploma or GED is required. Technical school is preferred.Functional Knowledge. Must have thorough knowledge of welding material, welding properties, and various types of metals. Must be able to interpret blueprints. Must be able to wire feed welding machines to hard face and fabricate and repair liners.Welding Skills. Must have welding experience. Must be able to perform brazing, welding, arc-welding, and cutting tasks.Flexibility. Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
