This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory, optimizing fuel and retail sales, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The General Manager must be a hands-on leader, capable of multitasking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Job Functions: + Oversee the daily operations of fuel sales, retail, convenience store, restaurant, and other on-site services. + Drive revenue growth through strategic marketing, promotions, and customer service. + Hire, develop, and supervise employees, including cashiers, maintenance staff, and restaurant personnel. + Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding fuel, food service, and employment. + Implement and enforce company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards. + Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times. Experience: + 3+ years in retail, travel stop or c-store, big box, grocery, or department store management. + 3+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2+million. + 3+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements. + 3+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees. + Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office. + A valid driveru2019s license and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle check. Physical Demands: + Regular talking and hearing. Active involvement requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. Occasional lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required.
