We at Grundfos, a Great Place to Worku00ae certified company,areseeking an experienced Lead Application Solution Manager to join our Water Utility (WU) Solutions & Marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the global, endu2011tou2011end success of the Water Distribution Application products and solutions. You serve as a subject matter expertu2014combining deep technical understanding with strong business insight to define direction, shape initiatives, and deliver solutions that create impact across multiple units. You will work closely with crossu2011functional teams across WU, other divisions, and group functions to ensure highu2011quality outcomes that align with business objectives and customer needs. You will report to the Senior Director of WU Application Solutions and will take leadership from the Head of Application, who sets the team priorities and leads annual performance reviews. You will work on a hybrid schedule out of any of our offices in the US, preferably in Brookshire, TX. This position is also open to remote applicants located in the US. Your main responsibilities : + Participate in all the agile sprint ceremonies. + Complete the deliverables planned for the sprint, ensuring each deliverable meets the defined requirements. + Understand and describe the application's value chain, stakeholders, and Grundfos' current and future roles. + Visit customers and sales channels to understand their needs, pain points, behaviors, and purchasing criteria across Water Distribution applications. + Analyze profit pools, trends, competitive landscape & customer types with a focus on Water Distribution. + Define and manage products owned by the Water Distribution application, including end-of-life management and health monitoring for clean water Grundfos products. + Create and coordinate detailed application strategies (2-year, 5-year, 10-year) with WU and product strategies. + Identify new growth opportunities for existing products in new markets, customers, segments, and business models and pilot new business ideas within Water Distribution applications. + Coordinate activities with stakeholders, create internal communication materials, and collaborate across Grundfos + Work with the Application team, focusing on a shared goal on achieving the Water Distribution strategic choices 2027 and ensuring alignment with business needs. Shared responsibilities include: + Cost Optimization & expense management: Monitor and analyze product costs and margins, prioritize cost optimization opportunities, and ensure implementation. + Profitable Growth: Set optimal prices, enable sales force, develop sales tools, and monitor product performance. + Performance Reporting & financial planning: Create application P&L, monitor KPIs, and contribute to financial planning and product reviews. + Risk Management & regulatory: Identify and manage application-related risks, collaborate on regulatory topics, and implement corrective actions. + Sustainability: Ensure sustainability targets influence decision-making, track metrics, and ensure compliance with regulations. + Supply chain: Set target lead times, oversee inventory management, and coordinate with operations to optimize manufacturing capacity. Your background We imagine that you have: + A Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or comparable professional experience. + Expertise and high level of knowledge around End suction pumps, split case pumps, Multistage pumps and boosters systems. + A high-level knowledge of Water Distribution products and applications is an advantage. + Identify, drive and deploy new products or solutions within water distribution application. + Industry experience within a business environment; experience working in a large manufacturing environment is preferred. + Experience managing defined processes within Global or Regional technical development, business development and/or services. + Excellent stakeholder management with strong ability to influence others. + Experience driving and specifying of digital solutions, knowledge and expertise with Grundfos Connect demand distribution is an advantage. + The ability to initiate and specify new customer centric development projects and ensure market deliveries throughout the complete project. + Good communication skills in English (written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal). + Good people skills and able to work with people at all levels. + A strong aptitude for learning and applying new systems and programs. + The ability and willingness to travel domestically or internationally (30-40 days travel per year). The salary range for this position is $101,400 to $159,380. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidateu2019s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfosu2019s total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. Certain roles are eligible to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization.
