KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: - Accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skills sets accordingly. - Possess effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once. - Develop and maintain professional relationships. - Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. - Adhere to school and/or organizational policies and procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES: - The day-to-day execution, and support of a behavioral plan, can include things like working directly with individual students or small groups, conducting follow-ups, and collecting data. Follow the BIP (the behavior intervention plan) of students in special education. - Collect, record, and summarize data of observable behaviors. - Interact and intervene directly with students who may be experiencing behavioral struggles. - Communicate with school staff and families regularly regarding student's progress or needs. - Maintain students' confidentiality. - Assist the BCBA with skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments. - Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. - Support students with behavioral needs in the educational environment to foster learning.
