With a portion of FTEdedicated to fulfilling an Internal Medicine Float Physician role withinthe Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine. Weare looking for candidates with a track record of clinical excellenceand interest in education as demonstrated through training and/orpractice experience. This position is full or part-time, 50%-100P%-70% FTE as a General Pediatrician and up to 30% as a InternalMedicine Float Physician This position requires work to be completedonsite, at a designated campus work location. This position has beenidentified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations.The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregivercheck to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Lawand every four years. Applicants for this position will be consideredfor the following titles Assistant Professor (CHS), Associate Professor(CHS), Professor (CHS), Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical AssociateProfessor, or Clinical Professor. The title is determined by theexperience and qualifications of the finalist. Key JobResponsibilities:Internal Medicine Float Physician: Providecomprehensive patient care in the outpatient setting. Duties may includeclinical teaching of medical students residents, and fellows, as well asadministrative duties. Individuals may also be called upon to fillclinical needs at UW Health Urgent Care Centers. The preferred candidatewill either have experience teaching and working with a diversepopulation or will welcome a commitment to teaching and working with adiverse population.
