Eatonu2019s Electrical Sector Americas (ES-A) group is currently seeking an HR Director u2013 Employee Relations, Programs & Functional Excellence to join our team. This position can be based at the following Eaton locations: Moon Township PA, Beachwood OH, Milwaukee WI, Raleigh NC or Charlotte NC. Relocation within hiring country is offered only to the Moon Township location. Position Overview: The HR Director will set the strategic direction for employee relations, ensuring consistent policies, compliance and best practice within ES-A. Additionally, they will oversee complex investigations, labor relations and risk mitigation to maintain a fair and inclusive workforce. This role will also be responsible for HR Functional Excellence & Programs for ESA and will drive operational excellence across HR processes and systems and drive standardization and continuous improvement to elevate HR's impact and efficiency. The Electrical Sector Americau2019s business is over $13 billion in revenue and over 34,000 employees across 15+ countries and 50+ plants. Job Responsibilities: u2022 Shape and champion the employee experience that drives engagement and retention across the organization. u2022 Support transformation initiatives and contingent workforce strategies aligned with organizational priorities. u2022 Serve as a trusted advisor to HR and senior leadership, building advanced ER capability and leadership effectiveness. u2022 Set ESA standards for compliance with labor laws, diversity and employment regulations. u2022 Anticipate and interpret legal trends; influence policy development to mitigate organizational risk. u2022 Sponsor compliance programs and ensure HR teams are equipped to manage regulatory responsibilities globally. u2022 Define and govern ER policy frameworks for complex, high-impact scenarios (e.g., ADA, FMLA, global mobility, disability etc.). u2022 Oversee risk assessments for site-level policy changes and ensure alignment with corporate governance. u2022 Provide oversight for investigations, disciplinary actions, and high-risk terminations u2022 Advise on complex ethics and compliance issues and investigations, providing consult and recommendations on outcomes u2022 Lead response strategies for US labor activity and guide labor negotiations globally u2022 Partner with HR leadership on restructuring, workforce planning, and organizational design. u2022 Influence decisions to ensure ER integration and risk mitigation. u2022 Drive global payroll, time, and labor strategies that enable operational excellence. u2022 Sponsor and facilitate ER/ Labor training for HR and leadership teams. u2022 Position the organization as a leader in labor compliance and employee relations through proactive education, communication and management u2022 25 percent travel anticipated Qualifications: Required Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s Degree from an accredited institution u2022 Minimum ten (10) years of professional HR experience u2022 Experience leading HR for multiple sites and/or distributed workforce u2022 Experience in unionized manufacturing environments u2022 Experience leading employee relations strategies in a matrixed environment u2022 Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
