Position Overview: TEAM is seeking adetail-oriented and experienced Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) toperform quality control and code-compliance inspections on weldedcomponents and assemblies. The successful candidate will verify weldquality through visual inspection and nondestructive examinationcoordination, ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards, andsupport client QA/QC programs across field and shop environments. Thisrole demands a strong knowledge of welding practices, inspectiontechniques, and documentation processes to support safety-criticaloperations. Primary Responsibilities:Perform visual welding inspections in accordance with AWS D1.1, ASMESection IX, API codes, or project-specific criteria. Review weldingprocedures (WPS), procedure qualification records (PQR), and welderqualification test records (WQTR). Monitor welding activities toensure adherence to approved procedures, standards, and clientspecifications. Coordinate with NDT personnel to support additionaltesting requirements (UT, RT, MT, PT, etc.). Generate detailedinspection reports, weld maps, and deficiency logs as required by theproject or client. Witness welder qualification tests and maintaincompliance with welder continuity logs. Interface directly with clientQA/QC personnel, fabricators, and engineers to resolve welding orquality-related issues.
