SkillBridgeis a Department of Defense (DOD) program that helps service members gaincivilian work experience. DOD SkillBridge Program -Construction Project Representative engage in a 3-month immersiveexperience predominately collaborating with our seasoned constructionservices team in the field, where they can apply their newly acquiredskills to actually work projects. This opportunity is located inoffices: Minnesota: Baxter, Burnsville, Chaska, Duluth, OakdaleWisconsin: Milwaukee What You Will Be Doing: You will assist withconstruction observations and construction staking on assigned projectsYou will maintain detailed records and documentation of constructionactivities, along with recording quantities and materials testing Youwill perform basic engineering computations and make basic engineeringsurvey measurements You will gain experience reviewing and approvingproject submittals, contract pay vouchers, work orders, change ordersand supplemental agreements This position will interact with staff,landowners, contractors, and subcontractors What We Are Looking For:Must be a Military Service Member with 180 days of service or fewerremaining before your separation date Must have the ability to work inextended outdoor conditions and be physically capable of navigatingrugged terrain for the purpose of performing the duties outlined aboveGeneral knowledge of public infrastructure/civil construction andAutoCAD drafting are preferred Must possess a valid driver's licenseand be insurable under the firm's standard rates. Must also own theirown transportation. You will be reimbursed for business-related travel.A check of the candidate's motor vehicle record will be conducted aspart of the on-boarding Relocation and housing are not included.
