We're looking for a Sr. Software Engineer - Portal (Front End) to join our Payrix portal Engineering team and help us unleash the potential of every business.What you'll own as the Sr. Software Engineer - Portal (Front End)Working with a great engineering team to solve complex problemsContributing to building a scalable platform, employing engineering best practices, on top of AWSCollaborating to help refine our business requirements and evolve our payments platformFully owning the services that you and your team are buildingParticipating in team code reviewsMentoring less experienced team members, helping them to become successful within the team and the projectWorking with technical and non-technical people outside the team as it relates to team-owned projects/featuresTechnologies we work with: NODE-JS, TypeScript, Angular, Playwright, MariaDB, AWS EC2, S3, API Gateway and related services, GIT, GITHUB, CI, JIRA, Confluence, Qualys, JenkinsWhat you'll bring6+ years' experience with software development, including expert knowledge of best practices, including code architectural patterns and code design principles and patterns with demonstrated ability to properly apply them as neededSolid understanding of large-scale software systems3+ years of experience in development Angular based front-end development2+ years of experience with ExpressJS backend DevelopmentGood experience with relational database systems (Postgres, MariaDB)Good understanding of working with REST APIsVery strong communication skills, both oral and writtenClear understanding of Software Development Life Cycle stages and best practices around each stageDemonstrated ability to technically own the delivery of medium sized features, involving multiple people within the teamExperience with basic cloud services for building and running cloud-native applicationsIt's a bonus if you haveAgile development experienceCI/CD experienceFintech or payments/banking product development experienceAbout the teamThe Payrix team is a passionate, global team of payments and software experts who provide vertical software companies with an all-in-one platform and a white-glove approach, to capitalize on the opportunities within embedded payments for growth, innovation, and transformation.
