Finance Analyst

About the Role: As a CBRE Finance Analyst, you will apply foundational cashand accrual accounting principles to prepare, analyze, maintain, and deliveraccurate and timely financial reports for a portfolio of clients andproperties. This role sits within the Financial Strategy and Operationsfunction and is responsible for supporting accounting processes, financialreporting, and internal controls. The position is a Mondayu2013Friday, first-shiftrole dedicated to supporting a leading American multinational consumer goodscorporation. What Youu2019ll Do: u2022 Complete accounting transactions and post journal entriesto ensure accurate recording of expenses, receipts, distributions, fundingrequests, and other period activity. u2022 Prepare andgenerate accurate, comprehensive client financial statement packages andrelated reports using data from multiple sources. u2022 Review financialinformation for accuracy and respond to inquiries from management, vendors, andclients. u2022 Analyze trends ingeneral business conditions and support scenario planning models (exit,maintain, grow). u2022 Research andresolve accounting issues, identifying potential risks or conflicts and takingcorrective action to minimize impact. u2022 Apply standardaccounting principles and existing procedures to solve routine problems andmeet deadlines. u2022 Communicate clearlyby exchanging straightforward information, asking questions, and confirmingunderstanding. u2022 Lead by example,modeling CBRE RISE values while maintaining accountability for the quality ofown work. What Youu2019ll Need: u2022 Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevantexperience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education willbe considered. u2022 Ability to use existing procedures to solve standardproblems. u2022 Experience with analyzing information and standardpractices to make judgments. u2022 In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examplesinclude Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. u2022 Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset. u2022 Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficultfigures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial relatedcalculations. u2022 Strong communication skills required. u2022 Curiosity, attention to detail, and the drive to make adifference.
