Overview The Store Supervisor ensures the shop meets customer service, inventory management, and paperwork expectations while supervising store personnel. The minimum pay for this position is $30.00/hr. Responsibilities Provide quality customer service to include but not limited to the following: u2022 Attention to detail u2022 Meet and greet customers u2022 Review supplied requisition forms to ensure they are properly completed (Signatures, timestamps, part numbers, descriptions and quantities) u2022 Answer questions regarding availability of parts u2022 Ask appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and provided u2022 If necessary, inspect equipment in the shop to assist in parts research u2022 Research parts for procurement utilizing vendor/manufacturer websites, publications, equipment manuals, microfiche, etcu2026 to ascertain the necessary parts to procure u2022 Answer all messages (phone/email) in a timely fashion u2022 Contact appropriate vendors for pricing and to place orders u2022 Inform customers when requested parts are available u2022 Contact Counter/Driver personnel to perform emergency parts pick ups, as required u2022 Provide past sales research as requested, utilizing the inventory system u2022 Check parts availability at all MANCON locations utilizing the inventory system u2022 Contact other MANCON locations to request transfers of parts or obtain parts information. u2022 Review the Product Group Catalog as required to ensure requested items are approved for purchase u2022 Review, familiarize with and adhere to MANCONu2019s SOPs, Supervisor Manual, and Safety Manual Produce and review required reports u2022 Ensure timely completion of all items on the supervisoru2019s checklist. u2022 Generate, distribute, copy and file all invoices for material issued to the city. u2022 Produce the daily Ticket Summary report and attach copies of all invoices and submit to the city u2022 Generate the Flat File Fix report. Review and correct identified errors in the inventory system u2022 Generate and review the SLA Failure Item Detail Report. Review all items that failed to determine if changes to stocking levels are required, based on the past 12 months of sales history u2022 Generate, review and correct items identified on the PT/OP Bin check report u2022 Produce and process the Reorder report u2022 Generate, review and correct the No Min/Max report u2022 Generate, review the Inactive Item Report. Take action on items as appropriate. u2022 Produce and provide backup for all Credit Card purchases to corporate Data Entry requirements u2022 Ensure that all completed customer requisitions are properly invoiced in the inventory system u2022 Ensure that all vendor receiving documents are properly entered in the inventory system u2022 Ensure that all inventory transfer requests are properly entered in the inventory system u2022 Generate new item numbers in the inventory system following published guidelines Inventory Management requirements u2022 Perform and report weekly inventory cycle counts u2022 Perform system research on all cycle count discrepancies u2022 Monitor and review inventory Bin assignments to ensure accuracy u2022 Review items sales history to ensure proper Stock Sources are set u2022 Meet with city representatives to discuss future requirements in regards to stocking levels u2022 Process Transfer requests from other MANCON locations u2022 Perform Wall to Wall inventory at site, when notified, following established procedures Other Requirements u2022 Follow established guidelines for vehicle and equipment maintenance u2022 Provide 24 hour support at the customer location during emergencies u2022 Travel to locations to pick up parts u2022 Train forklift operators u2022 Assist with inventory research projects as requested u2022 Participate in the SCM continuing training program u2022 Supervise assigned store personnel. Qualifications + 1 year computer experience + 5 years auto or heavy duty truck parts experience + 1 year inventory experience + 1 year customer service experience + 24-hour availability + Valid driveru2019s license with 2 years driving experience + Obtain and maintain trainer forklift certificate Preferred Qualifications + Transit Bus Parts Experience Physical Requirements Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Essential Requirements Driving, Lifting, Reaching, Sitting, Standing, Stooping, Walking Physical Requirements Other Work is mostly performed in an office setting, however some requirements occur at storerooms and warehouses in the field which may have uncontrolled temperatures and dirt/dust/damp conditions. Travel to site in a vehicle will occur.
