Supply Chain Coordinator / 1st Shift Req ID: 47718 Job Location (Short): Cleveland, OH, USA Employment Type: Full Time Segment: Danfoss Power Solutions Segment Job Category: Supply Chain and Operations Work Location Type: On-site The Impact You'll Make To support the supply chain team in the daily tasks of completing a customer order request from beginning to end. To assist with projects relating to customer service, demand planning, purchasing, manufacturing, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation. This is a 1st Shift position. What Youu2019ll Be Doing Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. + Track inventory levels and manage stock to ensure adequate supply without overstocking. + Release purchase orders from established suppliers. + Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery. + Analyze and resolve blocked invoices to increase prompt accounts payable to suppliers. + Release production orders in response to low inventory and customer requirements. + Process inventory-related transactions and reconcile discrepancies. + Assist Customer Service with order updates for past due and expedited orders. + Support the Key Performance Indicators of On-time delivery, Days of Inventory, Past due reduction, + Contribution Margin and freight cost reduction. + Vacation coverage as needed. What We're Looking For Required (Basic) Qualifications + Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management. + This position requires the use of information or access to technology which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR/EAR. Preferred Qualifications + Experience of PC tools including internet, email, MS Office and scanning + Understanding of Supply Chain Topics + Comfortable in a manufacturing environment + Self-motivated and willingness to learn.
