We have office locations in Missouri St. Louis and Jefferson City, Illinois Collinsville and Effingham and Kentucky Louisville and Prestonsburg.We are looking for a Bridge Inspector certified Team Leader to support our CDI mission in Building Stronger Communities. By leading projects and guiding the next generation of engineers, you will support our mission and developing a better tomorrow.Be a part of the CDI Mission:The Bridge Inspector will be an integral part of our Structures/Bridge Group, performing bridge inspections and completing office related tasks as assigned. CDI values a people-first culture and encourages flexible scheduling to help each team member reach their ideal work-life balance.Key Responsibilities:u00b7 Plan and coordinate bridge inspections according to FHWA and owner requirements.u00b7 Collaborate with engineers, designers, clients and stakeholders to communicate inspection results.u00b7 Plan for bridge inspections including necessary inspection equipment, sketches, safety devices and coordinating safety vehicles as required.u00b7 Ensure compliance with CDI's safety procedures.u00b7 Document findings from visual and physical bridge inspections.u00b7 Assessment of bridges noting severity of damage, deterioration, load carrying capacity and weight inspections.u00b7 Advise on immediate repair and long-term strategies.u00b7 Prepares bridge inspection forms and reports under the directions of Bridge PM. Enters inspection data, requests reports, and analyzes information.Requirements:u00b7 Require NBIS Team Leader Certificationu00b7 Statewide travel with over nightsu00b7 Valid drivers licenseu00b7 Ability to climb and inspect various type of bridgesu00b7 Comfortable working with heights and confined spacesu00b7 Positive attitudeu00b7 Ability to be self-directed with focus on quality while working within a team.u00b7 Ability to work effectively in a team environment while possessing strong interpersonal and both oral and written communication skills.This role can be based out of the Collinsville, IL, Effingham, IL, Louisville, KY and St. Louis, MO.
