We aim to bring warmth andenergy to everything we do.We have an exciting hybrid opportunity for a Financial Analyst,Engineering I based in Little Rock, Arkansas.POSITION SUMMARYThe Financial Analyst Engineering I & Capital Projects supports SummitUtilities Engineering organization by providing financial reporting,analysis, forecasting, and planning for major capital initiatives. Thisrole plays a critical part in ensuring that financial data is accurate,actionable, and aligned with business objectives. The position involvesanalyzing and projecting financial impacts of management decisions,preparing capital and operational reports, supporting rate case filings,and communicating insights to senior management and cross-functionalpartners.The Financial Analyst Engineering I & Capital Projects also contributesto process improvements by developing automated financial models anddashboards that enhance capital project tracking, financial visibility,and decision-making efficiency.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFinancial Reporting & AnalysisPrepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports, dashboards, andpresentations that summarize Engineerings capital expenditures,forecasts, and budget performance.Analyze capital project costs andvariances, explaining budget-to-actual differences and trends toleadership.Develop financial models to forecast spending and evaluateinvestment decisions related to construction, infrastructure, andmaintenance projects.Support rate case data requests by compilingfinancial documentation and validating accuracy of supporting schedules.Capital Planning & ForecastingPartner with engineering and operations leaders to build, track, andforecast capital project budgets.Ensure accurate capture and allocationof project costs within enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).Assistwith annual capital budget development and long-range planning.Providedata-driven recommendations that improve resource utilization andcapital efficiency.Management Reporting & Board SupportPrepare financial materials for the Board of Directors and ExecutiveLeadership Team, including scorecard reporting, project summaries, andkey performance metrics.Assist in preparing supporting schedules andfinancial analyses for strategic initiatives and special projects.Collaboration & Business PartnershipServe as a financial liaison between Engineering, Regulatory, PropertyAccounting, and Financial Planning.Provide financial insight to projectmanagers and engineers to ensure fiscal responsibility and adherence tocapital municate complex financial information clearly toboth technical and non-financial audiences.Process Improvement & AutomationStreamline manual reporting[](employment opportunity, including veterans and individuals withdisabilities.PI282119213
