GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION Supports Project Managers by assisting with schedule development, risk management, project documentation, and other project monitoring and control activities to ensure capital projects meet corporate objectives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES + Support the development and maintenance of detailed project schedules using project management software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project). + Establish, maintain, and utilize Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to support project cost tracking and reporting for all projects: + Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders. + Analyze project costs and budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints and providing accurate cost estimates. + Support risk identification, tracking and mitigation planning. + Support governance processes and ensure standardization and continuous improvement in project delivery. + Assist with the Change Management process, documenting and tracking approved project changes. + Review and process contractor change order requests, monitor contractor progress, and review invoices. + Establish and maintain project records, including schedules, logs, change orders, RFIs, and construction documentation. + Develop and implement project controls tools, templates, and systems; create training materials as needed. + Prepare and maintain project reports, dashboards, and documentation for stakeholder review. + Promote safe behavior and adherence to safety rules on all projects. + Other duties as assigned. + Due to our obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to our customers, the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance and the ability to work outside your regularly scheduled office hours when necessary is an essential function of the job. + Maintain awareness of and compliance with applicable laws and regulations from various regulatory entities, internal policies, procedures, and directives. Ensure ongoing monitoring and timely incorporation of any changes to maintain adherence to compliance standards. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS + Analyst I - Bacheloru2019s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, plus 0-2 years of related experience in project controls or project management (utility capital project experience preferred), or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Analyst II - Bacheloru2019s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, plus 3-5 years of related experience in project controls or project management (utility capital project experience preferred), or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Analyst III - Bacheloru2019s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, plus 6-8 years of related experience in project controls or project management (utility capital project experience preferred), or equivalent combination of education and experience. REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Valid driver license PREFERRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS + PMI (Project Management Institute) certifications (PMP, SP) + AACEi (Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International) certifications (EVP, PSP, CCP) ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS Periodically exposed to such elements as noise, intermittent standing, walking, occasionally pushing, carrying, or lifting; but none are present to the extent of being disagreeable.
