Summary Job title: Industrial Networking Services Specialist Job ID: null Department: AIMM AR Location: null-null Description Summary: The AIMM Services Industrial Networking services specialist delivers assessments of clientsu2019 existing networking and security infrastructure with the view to develop, design and implement services that will provide a stable, secure, and long-term industrial network infrastructure within a production and automation control systems network. The role is to be closely involved with clients on a consultative basis to understand and implement programs that will have a meaningful and positive impact on their business. This will be a territory-defined role that reports to the AIMM Services Business Development Manager. Each network engineer will work closely with the services business development positions, account managers, location management and technical employees. Reports to: AIMM Services BDM Minimum Qualifications: + Bacheloru2019s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology or related technology driven degree. + Demonstrate strong interpersonal communications, organizational and written/verbal communication skills + Hands-on experience configuring IT equipment (Cisco, VMware, etc.) + Experience creating part number level bills of material for simple and complex network solutions + Minimum of 3+ years as Network Engineer or related jobs + Previous experience working as part of a large, multi-disciplinary team completing full project life-cycle implementations + Exposure to Industrial Control Systems including PLC, HMI/SCADA, plant historian, motor control, motion control, etc. technology and applications (Rockwell or comparable platforms) ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES: + Demonstrate Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills required + Demonstrate an ability to influence and guide team members when required Preferred Qualifications: u2022Network Engineering Certification (CCENT, CCNA Routing and Switching/Wireless, CINS Cisco Industrial Networking Specialist, VCA, VCP, GICSP) u2022Understanding of CPwE DIG (Converged Plantwide Ethernet Design and Implementation Guide) u2022Understanding of ISA, ANSI, NEMA, NEC and NIST standards. Commercial u2022Develop relationships across each client from their plant OT through to the IT employees assisting them to achieve their IoT strategy u2022Ability to accurately articulate the requirements and priorities of both IT and OT stakeholders u2022Present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization to gain buy-in around both the concepts and the value of acting on design changes.
