We are looking for industry professionals, no prior teachingexperience is required.This position includes teaching assigned classes, which may includeteaching evening or weekend hours. This position will also includeorganizing and delivering class syllabi and objectives in a clear,concise manner; maintaining an organized and safe environment for ourstudents in classrooms and labs; ensuring training aids, tools, andequipment are maintained and prepared for use in the classroom and labs;guiding and assisting students; keeping accurate records of studentperformance and making timely submission of academic records; providingstudents with timely feedback; maintaining office hours; participatingin departmental/institutional operations and program review; creating alearning environment that fosters student success; developing,integrating, evaluating and reviewing student learning outcomes insupport of the College's ongoing accreditation; and contributing to acollegial and collaborative work environment.The Workforce Institute at Lincoln Land Community College consists of 9full-time faculty and 7 program directors who are involved in therecruitment, departmental advising and the advising of various studentorganizations. Full-time facultymembers teach 15 credit hours for load each fall and spring semesterwith small class sizes and the potential to teach additional coursesduring the summer term. LLCC faculty, their spouse and qualified dependentchildren are eligible to use the tuition waiver on credited courses.Faculty can also enjoy free access to our on-campus fitness center.
