Join High Concrete in Denver, PA, where your future is built to last.We are actively seeking Yard person/Material Handler to join our 2nd Shift - 4:00PM start time team.Material Handlers/Yardperson are responsible to assist in performing duties to ensure the proper and safe handling of products from the production areas to yard storage. Also, to ensure a smooth and safe flow of products from the storage areas onto trailers for shipments to job sites.Ideal candidates will be able to start work at 4:00 PM, Sunday- ThursdayYou will receive a shift differential of $3.00 per hour for any hours worked between 5 pm and 5 am.Positions start at $20.00.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:Ability to work outdoors year roundValid driver&s license is required.Certified equipment operator a plus; travel lift and/or tow motor a plusAbility to follow instructions and work independentlyGeneral Duties:Assist in hooking up products for loading and unloadingSetting blocks, evaluating pieces with wood blocksLift up to 50lbsUse of hand signals to escort equipment operators for setting, lifting or maneuvering production pieces during loading/unloading processOperate electronic hand held scanners for verification of production pieces during storage processWill gather, at start of shift, shims, steel blocks, homosote, rack pins, and wood blocking used for the days productionWorking for The High Companies:High Concrete Group LLC combines innovation, proven technology, more than three-quarters of a century&s experience as a precast company, and nearly 50 years as a precaster.Tuition Assistance with 100 percent reimbursement for approved courses and degree programs which are job related and approved in advance by your supervisor.Employee Assistance Program provides professional, confidential assistance for any type of personal issue you or your eligible dependents are experiencing.High Family Foundation Scholarship is awarded annually to the children of High co-workers working at least 1,000 hours per year and employed for at least two years.
