A successful candidate will be organized, work independently with minimal guidance, and have a desire to learn and master new techniques. Responsibilities: 40% Assist with mouse embryonic stem cell culture. 30% Execute molecular cloning/genomic engineering experiments. 25% Validate models with expression assays. 2.5% Maintain a clean and orderly work environment 2.5% Follow established biological, chemical, and physical safety procedures All required qualifications must be documented on application materials. Qualifications Required Qualifications BS/BA in Molecular Biology, Biology or related field or a combination of education and experience to equal at least 4 years Previous experience working in a laboratory or research setting Excellent written and communication skills Ability to work well within the lab group and with collaborators Preferred Qualifications Aseptic techniques and cell culture experience. Hands-on experience with molecular biology procedures (DNA isolation, PCR, gel electrophoresis, Western Blotting, Real Time qPCR) Ability to work well within the lab group and with collaborators.
