Description Starting Salary: $82,500 - $87,500 annually The salary indicated in this posting represents the minimum starting salary. Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position's qualifications, in addition to internal equity. The posted salary reflects just one component of our total rewards package. POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Facilities provides agency-wide leadership and oversight for the safety, functionality, and upkeep of all Beyond Support Network buildings and physical environments operated or occupied by the organization. The Director of Facilities leads maintenance and janitorial operations including oversight of Beyond Clean, the agencyu2019s janitorial service, ensuring high-quality service delivery. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Director of Facilities participates in strategic planning, budgeting and organizational decision-making, ensuring facility operations and long-term capital planning aligning with the agencyu2019s mission, growth, and service needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: + Executive Leadership & Strategic Planning + Leadership & Collaboration + Facilities & Property Oversight + Maintenance Operations + Beyond Clean Oversight (Janitorial Service) + Vendor, Contract & Landlord Management + Compliance, Safety & Risk Management + Fleet Responsibilities (injunction with Transportation Coordinator) SUCCESS FACTORS: + Accountability & Dependability: Takes full responsibility for agency-wide facilities operations, ensuring buildings, systems, and services are safe, compliant, and dependable. Consistently follows through on commitments, documentation, and corrective actions. + Communication :Communicates clearly and professionally with executive leadership, department leaders, staff, and vendors to support effective operations. Shares timely, relevant information regarding facility conditions, projects, safety issues, and resource needs. + Decision Making & Judgment: Exercises sound judgment to prioritize facility needs, manage risk, and allocate resources effectively. Balances immediate operational demands with long-term planning, safety, and fiscal responsibility. + Initiative: Proactively identifies maintenance, safety, and operational risks and takes action to prevent disruptions. Seeks continuous improvement in systems, processes, and facility performance. + Leadership: Provides steady, effective leadership to facilities and janitorial management while contributing strategically as a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Sets clear expectations and leads with professionalism and accountability. + Planning & Organizing: Plans and coordinates complex, multi-site operations through effective budgeting, scheduling, preventive maintenance, and project oversight. Manages competing priorities to ensure timely and efficient execution. + Safety Focus: Maintains a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance across all facilities. Ensures emergency preparedness, participates in incident response, and promotes a culture of safety and risk awareness. QUALIFICATIONS: Required: + Bacheloru2019s degree in related field (ie. Facilities Management, Engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil), Building Construction/Technology) with a minimum of 5 years experience in facilities operations, building maintenance, or property management (multi-site preferred). + Demonstrated experience managing facilities systems, maintenance, capital projects, and staff + Working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair practices. + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across locations. + Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. + Comfortable using technology to manage documentation, analyze data, communicate effectively, and support daily operations. Valid driveru2019s license and ability to travel regularly between sites. Preferred: + Trade certification (ie. Facilities Management Professional (FMP), Stationary Engineer License, Building Operator Certification, OSHA 30Hour, HVAC) or facilities management training. + Experience supporting OPWDD residential services, school settings, or human services or health environments.
