Summary The Specialty Practice Manager isresponsible for managing the operations of specialty clinics andservices within the health center. This role ensures smooth day-to-dayworkflows, compliance with federal and state healthcare regulations, andeffective coordination between providers, staff, and patients. Themanager plays a key role in supporting clinical efficiency, patientsatisfaction, and access to specialty care. Responsibilities Overseedaily operations of specialty care services, including scheduling,staffing, and patient flow. Supervise and develop administrative andclinical support staff, fostering a culture of accountability andteamwork. Ensure compliance with FQHC, HRSA, OSHA, and state/federalregulatory requirements. Monitor and improve key performance indicators(KPIs) such as patient access, quality outcomes, and satisfaction.Collaborate with specialty providers, primary care teams, and leadershipto ensure coordinated, integrated care. Manage budgets, purchasing, andinventory for specialty practices. Implement quality improvementinitiatives to optimize efficiency and enhance patient care. Serve as aliaison between specialty departments, executive leadership, andexternal partners. Requirements Bachelor's degree in HealthcareAdministration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred). 3+years of supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting(specialty care or FQHC experience strongly preferred). Strong knowledgeof healthcare operations, compliance, and regulations. Excellentleadership, organizational, and communication skills.
