Description Robert Half Finance & Accounting Contract Talent is working with a rapidly growing firm in the healthcare industry, to find a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join their team. This role requires experience in full-cycle Accounts Payable and Payroll, with the ability to process high-volume transactions efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Accounting Specialist will manage up to 200 invoices per week, including data entry, coding, matching, and check runs. Additionally, this role will be responsible for bi-weekly payroll processing for up to 500 employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in both Accounts Payable and Payroll, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams. A Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or Business is preferred but not required. Responsibilities: Perform full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice entry, coding, matching, and check runs for up to 200 invoices weekly Process bi-weekly payroll for up to 500 employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and payroll regulations Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile discrepancies Address and resolve invoice or payroll-related inquiries Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in both Accounts Payable and Payroll Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume transactions Proficiency in accounting and payroll software Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or Business (preferred, not required) Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment If you meet the qualifications and are interested in this opportunity, please contact us at (314) 262-4344 to learn more.
