Dispatcher

Summary The EDC Dispatcher operates systems to support and enhance security operations at the time. Systems include: Lenel, NCIC, 911, mass notification systems and other automated dispatch systems. Responsibilities + Track and record all incidents with a chronological listing of events using the CAD system. + Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays if needed. + As a critical position will be required to report and remain available for emergency duty in expectation of a hurricane, other disaster, or declared emergency. + Other duties as assigned Qualifications + High school diploma or GED + Applicant must have APCO Public Safety Telecommunicator training and valid certificate + One year of applicable dispatch experience. + Must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance, but not required to start.
