DevSecOps Engineer - Secret Clearance

The Work Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is seeking a Staff DevSecOps (DSO) Engineer to design, develop, and operate a secure, fullyu2011automated infrastructure pipeline. This role will be responsible for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) development. This role will also enforce DoD STIG compliance, manage configurationu2011management baselines, and drive continual technology refreshesu2014all while adhering to the highest cybersecurity standards required for missionu2011critical systems. The selected candidate will work with Software and System Engineers supporting the C2BMC program for the Missile Defense Agency. Basic Qualifications: u2022 An Interim Secret Clearance is required for consideration or higher u2022 Experience with ansible automation u2013 Writing functional playbooks, creating simple roles, and managing static inventories for Windows and Linux hosts. u2022 Basic Container knowledge u2013 Build and run Docker (orPodman) containers; understand fundamental Kubernetes concepts such as pods and services. u2022 Experience with scripting u2013 Proficient in at least one language (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) to automate routine tasks and interact with web APIs. u2022 CI/CD & Git fundamentals u2013 Use a CI platform (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions) to trigger builds and run basic tests; clone repositories, create branches, commit changes, and submit pull requests. Infrastructure-as-Code Tools u2022 Proficiency with Terraform/Packer for platform-agnostic resource provisioning. Desired Skills: u2022 Advanced ansible automation knowledge u2013 Complex playbooks, reusable roles, dynamic inventories, and use of the Ansible Automation Platform. u2022 Fullu2011Stack container orchestration experience u2013 Building Docker/Podman images and managing workloads on Kubernetes or OpenShift with proper security policies. u2022 Expert scripting knowledge u2013 Highu2011quality Python, Bash, and PowerShell scripts for sophisticated automation and API integration. u2022 Comprehensive CI/CD Engineering u2013 Pipelines that include automated security testing, compliance checks, and automated deployments across environments. u2022 Enterpriseu2011Grade Secret Management u2013 Integration of HashiCorp Vault, Azure Key Vault, or AWS Secrets Manager with rotation and fineu2011grained access controls. u2022 Automated Compliance & Hardening knowledge u2013 Embedding OpenSCAP/InSpec checks into pipelines to enforce DoD STIG baselines and remediate drift automatically. u2022 Experience deploying Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK or Splunk; creating dashboards and alerting pipelines for proactive incident response. u2022 Comfortable troubleshooting complex, multi-layered failures Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
