The UM Administration Coordinator 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments. You will report to the Manager Care Management and be part of the Medicaid CM Team. This role provides non-clinical support for the policies and procedures ensuring best and most appropriate treatment, care or services for members. As a UM Admin Coordintior you will : u2022Make decisions that typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. u2022Works ithin defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. u2022Follow standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion. Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications u20221+ years administrative or technical support experience in an office type environment u2022Excellent verbal and written communication skills u2022The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and exhibit a strong sense of self-discipline u2022Working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook in a Windows based environment and an ability to quickly learn new systems Preferred Qualifications u2022Proficient utilizing electronic medical record and documentation programs u2022Proficient and/or experience with medical terminology and/or ICD-10 codes u2022Associateu2019s degree or higher education u2022Prior member service or customer service telephone experience u2022Experience with Utilization Review and/or Prior Authorization, preferably within a Managed Care/Insurance organization Location : Must reside and perform work in Louisiana Training: 6-week onboarding process Hours: Must be able to work a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time, weekend rotations are required (the work week will be flexed) and over-time may be requested to meet business needs Work-At-Home Requirements To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associatesu2019 ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria: u2022At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is required. u2022Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership. u2022Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense. u2022Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job. u2022Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
