Duties will includeteaching 15 contact hours per semester of assigned classes, labs, andclinicals; preparing lessons and course syllabi; evaluating andassisting students; keeping accurate records of student performance,including following grading procedures; providing students with timelyfeedback; maintaining office hours; participating indepartmental/institutional operations and program review; creating alearning environment that fosters student success and active learning;utilizing instructional technology in support of the teaching/learningprocess; developing, integrating, evaluating and reviewing studentlearning outcomes in support of the IDPH rules and regulations; andcontributing to a collegial and collaborative work environment.The Department of Health Professions consists of 32 full-time faculty.The Dean of Health Professions heads the department.Evening hours may be required and opportunities exist for overload andsummer teaching assignments.As a faculty member at LLCC, you can look forward to working at aninstitution that values teaching and learning, supports facultydevelopment, and encourages innovation and excellence.
