As ourQuality Assurance Technician I, you will: Calibrate equipment. Collect samples for testing. Accurately prepare and process dailypaperwork in an organized manner. Perform visual line and finishedproduct inspections to ensure conformance to specifications. Placetags to hold or reject product, materials, or equipment not meetingspecifications. Notify supervisors or other personnel of productionproblems or stop production if serious product defects are present. NOTE: this description is not intended to be all inclusive. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications (Required): Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship. High school diploma or GED. Must be able to effectively communicatein English (speak, read, and write). Must be able to work in avariety of work temperatures warm, hot, humid, cold, wet or withslippery surfaces at varied heights in and around moving equipment andparts with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Hours varybased on production needs and extended hours may be required. Must beable to successfully complete training: Safety. Safe Quality Food(SQF). Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Hazard Analysis andCritical Control Point (HACCP). Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Food defense. Preferred Qualifications: Prior quality assuranceexperience in a USDA inspected beef, pork, or poultry facility. Priorproduction experience. Work history in the last 12 months.
