JOB REQUIREMENTS: Safely operate industrial sewing machines and preparemachines by changing needles and thread, oiling and changing bobbin, andsecuring attachments. This includes automatic Box & X sewing machinesand standard industrial sewing machines. Safely operate machineryincluding automatic feed cutter, handheld hot knife, slide track rotarycutter, pneumatic grommet machines, pressurized die press, grinder tosharpen scissors, chop saw, band saw. Operate computer program forautomated machines that can mark and cut material orders. Safely operatevarious types of equipment to move material and orders including handpallet jacks, hydraulic lift, carts and dolly. Forklift experiencehelpful, but not required. Operate hand tools including scissors, drill,hand press, hand clamps. Hand cut a variety of materials in variousdepartments based on prints or patterns. Draw or create patterns. Followprints and written instructions with excellent attention to detail.Sewing products together with a wide range of materials. Meet deliverydeadlines by working with the team to ensure products are madecorrectly, with good quality and meet production goals set bysupervisor. Prepare and package completed orders for shipments ordeliveries. Monitor material inventory and place order requests asneeded to ensure an efficient production workflow. Maintains a clean andorganized work area with safety being a priority. OTHEREXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent attention to detail and qualitycontrol. Basic math skills including addition, subtraction,multiplication, division and fraction to decimal conversion withprovided conversion chart. Basic knowledge of geometry and geometriccalculations preferred. Read a tape measure in feet and inches to 1/8
