Product Manager

Job#: 3018848Job Description:Summary:Partner with product, engineering, QA, and design to plan, groom, and deliver features; represent the team in kickoffs; and manage development sprints and app release versions end to end.Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and administer the JIRA project (workflows, issue types, fields, boards, filters, dashboards, permissions).- Create and groom epics, stories, tasks, bugs, and test tickets with clear acceptance criteria and traceability.- Represent team in feature kickoff meetings; consolidate requirements, risks, and dependencies; document decisions and action items.- Drive backlog management: prioritize, refine, and ensure readiness of work with product, engineering, QA, design, and stakeholder inputs.- Build and manage sprint cadences, versions/releases, and fix versions, track readiness gates for store submissions.- Maintain product documentation: roadmaps, release notes, change logs, feature specs, and user stories.Required Qualifications:- 1--3+ years in product management, product operations, or product/business analysis for consumer apps.- Hands-on JIRA administration experience (advanced workflows, boards, JQL, dashboards, permissions).- Proven ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria; experience with grooming and estimation.- Excellent cross-functional communication and facilitation skills; confident in leading kickoffs and ceremonies.- Experience coordinating QA activities and defect management within JIRA.- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in identifying risks and dependencies.Apex Systems is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
