Paralegal Job Type - Permanent Pay Rate - $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 /year Description Our client, a successful law firm, is seeking adedicated Paralegal to join their team in Springfield, Massachusetts. Inthis role, you will support attorneys in bankruptcy, commerciallitigation, and collection cases, assisting clients ranging fromindividuals to Fortune 500 companies. This is an excellent opportunityfor professionals eager to grow their legal expertise in a dynamic andcollaborative environment. Schedule: Fully in office but can be remoteif you are sick, appointments, weather, etc. Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pmResponsibilities: Prepare pleadings and other legal documents includingcomplaints, default filings, and various court submissions underattorney supervision. Coordinate with courts, clients, and sheriff'sdepartments to track and advance case progress. Conduct factual researchto support negotiations and the resolution of legal disputes. Manage andmaintain a detailed calendar of deadlines, hearings, and courtappearances for active matters. Organize, update, and securely maintainconfidential client files and case information. Review, log, anddistribute all incoming mail and correspondence on a daily basis.Requirements: 1 or more years of experience as a paralegal (preferablyin litigation) Knowledge of Superior Court Rules and court proceduresProficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Strong written and verbalcommunication skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multipledeadlines High level of accuracy, attention to detail, andorganizational skills Reliable, dependable, and a positive team playerStrong work ethic with the ability to work independently when needed
