Description We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our client on a long-term contract basis in a hybrid capacity in Portland, Oregon. This role focuses on supporting international accounting operations, specifically for Canadian and European entities, and involves establishing and refining workflows to ensure smooth financial processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Extract and analyze financial data from various accounting systems to ensure accuracy and consistency. u2022 Conduct detailed reconciliations and consolidations using advanced Excel functions. u2022 Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records through thorough data analysis. u2022 Develop and document new accounting workflows tailored for international entities. u2022 Prepare and submit invoices in coordination with third-party accounting partners. u2022 Act as a key liaison between internal teams, external accounting firms, and international stakeholders. u2022 Support accounting processes for business units utilizing ERP system. u2022 Collaborate with EU stakeholders by aligning schedules and ensuring effective communication.
