Yard Driver

This job was posted by : For moreinformation, please see: Summary:The Driver role staff will play a crucial role indelivering and picking up parts in the Spirit shop and SpiritDistribution Center (SDC). Responsibilities include delivering standardand emergent parts, scanning to locations managing consignee keys,handling and delivering product, coordinating with internal and externalteams, and ensuring compliance with established procedures andstandards.Principal Responsibilities:(The following is intended to describe the general nature and level ofwork being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of allexpectations.):- Deliver standard and emergent orders to designated locations and Shipping- Pick up production parts for receiving (Milk Run)- Properly securing load and protecting parts- Pick up empty kit boxes- Load trailers for next day deliveries- 5S staging areas- Maintain valid Drivers License- Interface with Customer PCAs and mechanics, Warehouse personnel, and X-dock employees- Transport employees between warehouse and shops- Operate appropriate equipment to perform loading and delivery process- Notify Lead or Supervisor of any problems encountered during operations- Use electronic equipment to provide proof of delivery and/or order replenishment stock
