HR Recruitment Manager POSITION DETAILS With 34 buildings spread across 45 acres, Bronx Community College (BCC) has one of the largestu2014and most historicu2014campuses in the CUNY system. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: u2022 Oversee, manage, and maintain recruitment tracking, employee job data, and position management for the Office of Human Resources u2022 Manage contractual provisions for full-time instructional and classified staff employee groups, including appointment and reappointment processes, annual evaluations, and contractual salary increments u2022 Assist the Executive Director in reviewing and evaluating current CUNY policies, procedures, rules, and regulations; recommend improvements to automate, simplify, and streamline HR functions u2022 Serve as a liaison to the college community for the Office of Human Resources by addressing employee inquiries and resolving issues related to recruitment activities, CunyFirst, compensation, and job classification u2022 Ensure and maintain data integrity within the campus HRIS (CunyFirst); oversee all HCM-related processes and conduct regular wage and job data audits to identify and resolve discrepancies u2022 Supervise the administration of employee onboarding and orientation programs u2022 Assess, process, and track employee promotions and title or level changes, as necessary u2022 Assist the Executive Director in managing day-to-day office operations and supervising HR staff u2022 Perform additional duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree and six years' related experience required. Preferred Qualifications: u2022 Experience in CUNY, a higher education setting, and/or Human Resources strongly preferred u2022 Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team u2022 Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; prioritize effectively, multitask, shift priorities quickly, and perform well under pressure u2022 Masteru2019s degree in Human Resources or a related field u2022 Ability to develop and manage various tracking systems u2022 Excellent management, supervisory, and leadership skills u2022 Superior follow-up, as well as strong oral and written communication skills CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW Manages a portfolio of Human Resources programs and operations at the College level. - Assumes responsibility for delivery of one or more human resources programs, which may include recruitment, performance management, labor relations, pay administration, recordkeeping, and/or human resources technology - Manages staff responsible for carrying out operations in the Human Resources office - Directly supports College department chairs and managers in staff planning, recruiting, hiring, and resolving sensitive personnel issues regarding their employees - Provides guidance on the impact of laws and regulations, CUNY policies, and collective bargaining agreements - Provides outreach to employees and provides communications such as meetings, newsletters, and web sites - Compiles accurate and well-organized reports - Assists management with developing policies, procedures, and programs to support Human Resources' objectives - Performs related duties as assigned.
