Data Center Technician Location: Onsite u2013 Data Center Facility Employment Type: Full-Time Job Overview We are seeking to hire a motivated Data Center Technician to support daily operations in a highu2011availability data center environment. This role is wellu2011suited for individuals who enjoy handsu2011on technical work, problemu2011solving, and maintaining critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate has experience working with hardware, cabling, and general IT systems, and thrives in a structured, fastu2011paced environment. Primary Responsibilities + Install and maintain structured cabling, including Cat5e/Cat6 and fiberu2011optic connections. + Perform hardware installation tasks such as racking servers, network switches, and power equipment. + Conduct troubleshooting for connectivity issues, hardware failures, and environmental alerts. + Support the deployment of new infrastructure by preparing racks, mounting equipment, and performing cable routing. Required Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent; technical trade school or certifications are a plus. + 1u20133 years of experience in data center operations, structured cabling, or related IT support roles. + Familiarity with common data center hardware (servers, switches, PDUs, cabling components). Preferred Skills + Experience using cable testers, labelers, and fiber inspection tools. + Knowledge of basic Linux or Windows command line operations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Mesa, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
