Job Title: First OfficerDepartment:Flight OperationsReports To: Chief PilotPOSITIONPURPOSE:Safely assist the Captain and crew, through the use ofCrew Resource Management (CRM), in operatingtheaircraftinaccordancewithallFederalAviationRegulations(FARs)andcompany policies and procedures.ESSENTIALDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES:Dutiesandresponsibilitiesinclude,butarenotlimitedto:Performingpreflightinspectionsoftheaircraftandfreight.Assistingthecrewwiththenecessary paperwork.Operatingtheaircraftwithpreciseattentiontopolicy,regulationsandprocedures.Callingattentiontoanyunsafeconditionwhileonthegroundorin-flight.Performingpost-flightinspectionsoftheaircraft.EDUCATIONand/orEXPERIENCE:HighSchoolDiplomaorGEDequivalent(Post-secondaryeducationpreferred).PreviousFAR121experiencepreferred,butnotrequired.LANGUAGESKILLSAbilitytoread,writeandunderstandspokenandwrittenEnglish.Abilitytowriteroutinereportsand correspondence.QUALIFICATIONS:FAAMulti-EngineAirlineTransportCertificateorRestrictedMulti-EngineAirlinePilotCertificate2500+hoursoftotaltimeminimum.4000hourspreferred- IfMilitary:>1000hrs.TotalTime.TurbineandPICare flexible.1500turbine(Jet)flighttimeminimum500PICturbine(Jet)flighttimeminimumCurrentFAAClass1MedicalCertificateFCCRadioLicenseNorestrictionsonInternationalTravelCurrentUSPassportAbilitytopassa10-yearsecuritybackgroundcheckandpre-employmentDrugandAlcoholtestACCOMMODATIONS:Ifyouneedareasonableaccommodationfortheonlineapplicationprocessduetoadisabilitypleasecall (734) 544-7010.
