Lawn Care Technician

Job DescriptionLawn Specialties is seeking a motivated and dependable Lawn Technician who brings a positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer service. In this role, technicians work with both residential and commercial clients to provide timely lawn and tree care services. Responsibilities include applying treatments, addressing customer questions and concerns through service calls and other communication channels, and supporting company growth by recommending and upselling services to new and existing customers.Lawn Technicians are also expected to clearly communicate product and service information, troubleshoot technical issues as they arise, and maintain accurate daily documentation. This includes completing production reports, new sales forms, customer invoices, and vehicle inspection reports.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesMeasure and properly mix lawn care products according to specificationsApply fertilizers, weed control, and insect control treatmentsSafely operate lawn care equipment and machineryComplete customer invoices and maintain organized application recordsPerform lawn evaluations, including identifying grass types and weedsRespond to customer inquiries with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learnQualificationsEDUCATION:A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.EXPERIENCE:Valid driver’s license with at least five years of clean driving experience.Ability to safely operate trucks up to one ton (CDL not required).Pesticide license preferred but not required.Strong customer service skills with the ability to identify and support sales opportunities.Ability to lift and carry 50-100 pounds as required.Availability to work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed.Excellent attention to detail and a strong willingness to learn.Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Basic mechanical knowledge and experience with small equipment maintenance is a plus.Willing to train the right candidate who may not yet have all the necessary skills!Additional InformationBenefit Highlights:Challenging and rewarding work environmentCompetitive CompensationExcellent Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Plan401(K) Generous Paid Time OffCareer DevelopmentPay rate: $18-26/ hour depending on e be a part of the DeAngelo family, today!
