Job Title: R&D Technical Coordinator - Career (NPI Technician) Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80907 Duration: 2+ Years Pay Range: $30-32/hr w2 Responsibilities: As an NPI Technician on the team, you will collaborate with NPI Engineers, NPI Technicians, and R&D Engineers to: • Work in an Electrical Static Discharge (ESD) controlled environment • Turn on and troubleshoot PCA’s • Build / assemble full instrument prototypes • Calibrate and run automated tests on prototypes • Troubleshoot and repair prototypes • Build, troubleshoot, and maintain test racks containing electronic test and measurement equipment • Execute automated performance characterization tests on prototypes at temperature and humidity and collect characterization data • Help to maintain the NPI Lab environment Basic Qualifications: • 3 to 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or NPI environment or equivalent • High School Diploma or equivalent • General knowledge of electronics and electronics manufacturing • Experience in electronic mechanical assembly including torque drivers • Proficient with the Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook • Desire to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment • Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical issues effectively • Demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional team environment successfully • Demonstrated flexibility and tolerance of ambiguity and change • Ability to deliver results under schedule pressure • Able to identify, prioritize and solve technical problems • Demonstrated strong initiative • Demonstrated attention to detail • Good organizational skills • Team player with a positive attitude Desired Qualifications: • Higher level education or certifications in electronics • Classroom or work experience using electronic test equipment, specifically Oscilloscopes and Probes
