Description Job Description:Title: Account Manager - Commercial LinesFully Remote:residents in EST, CST and MST time zonesSupporting: Producer Operations Service Team, provides service support to new producers during their first 3-6 months with account management and service, while also providing temporary assistance to other IOA account teams as needed.Book Focus:General, Construction, TransportationPlease note: If this position is posted as either fully remote and/or hybrid, in accordance with company policy, individuals residing within a 50-mile radius of a branch location may be required to work onsite in a hybrid capacity as there may be occasions when on-site presence is necessary to meet specific business needs. Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues, and ensuring no errors or omissions.Key Responsibilities:Technical Competence:Maintaintechnical competence and industryexpertise.Team Leadership:Direct daily activities of the account management team.Customer Service:Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.Policy Management:Manage policy expirations and renewals.Renewal Process:Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.Accounts Receivable: Monitor reports andtake actionon delinquent accounts, collecting outstanding balances.System Maintenance:Maintainagency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.Activity Monitoring: Monitor andmaintainactivity/suspense to munication: Maintainfrequent, transparent communication with the account teamregardingworkload status and any issues.Service Excellence: Deliver excellent service, proactivelyanticipateneeds, and respond quickly to service requests.Policy Compliance: Stay updated on company policies and procedures.Continuous Improvement: Seekand adopt best practices to improve individual and team performance.Champion IOA Values: Demonstrateintegrity and leadership.Ideal CandidateQualifications:3+ years of account management experience,or 5+ years in the insurance industryThorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needsRequired active property & casualty licensing; professional designation (CIC or equivalent) preferredStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExceptional customer service,communication,multitasking, and organizational skillsProficiencyin MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)High School Diploma (or equivalent)What We Offer:Competitive salaries and bonus potentialCompany-paid health insurancePaid holidays, vacations, and sick time401K with employer matchProfessional growth and career progression opportunitiesRespectful culture and work/family life balanceCommunity service commitmentSupportive teammates and a rewarding work environmentWhat to Expect(Application Process):30-Minute Phone Screen, Online Assessments, and Interview(s)Salary RangeThe expected pay range for this position is $70K to $90K per year, depending on experience, relevant skills, and geographic surance Office of America is an equal opportunity employer.
