Maintenance Worker - Bolles School - Custodial

Job DescriptionThe Maintenance Worker reports to Facility Operations, receives work orders or directionsKey responsibilities: monitor filter room for inventory, changing weekly & monthly filters on select units, changing ceiling tiles when needed, light bulbs and small maintenance duties - reporting any issues to Asst Facility DirectorWork Hours: Monday-Friday 2pm - 10:30 pmPerks: Free lunches, uniforms are provided, yearly funds towards Shoes for Crews shoes, tools provided, PTO, Vacation & paid holidaysJob Responsibilities Maintains a friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers.Repairs various fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances, office equipment, spects assigned area on a routine basis and performs maintenance as needed to keep facility in functioning and serviceable pletes daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures.Reports on any major maintenance need and recommends corrective action as appropriate.Demonstrates efficient and safe use of equipment and tools.Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to component and departmental training commitments.• Work Hours Monday through Friday 9am to 5:30pm but must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays• Prior administrative experience preferred• Have solid understanding of Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, PowerPoint,and Excel• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written• Demonstrates strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail• This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, extended walking and standing, lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of up to 25 lbs.
