The Maintenance Technician ensures the reliability, safety,and efficiency of production and facility equipment by performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance tasks. At Level 3, the technician handles complex troubleshooting, major overhauls, and mentors junior staff. Details: Schedule: Monday-Saturday, 7:00am-3:30pm Thursdays and Sundays are off Pay Rate: $27.00/HRDepending on Experience Temp to Hire Core Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Inspect equipment to identify potential issues before failures occur. Troubleshoot motors, conveyors, robots, compressors, chillers, and automated machinery. Accurately record maintenance activities in the CMMS system. Follow and promote company safety policies. Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase machine uptime. Participate in on-call rotations or overtime shifts as required. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities Lead complex interventions, major overhauls, and equipment rebuilds. Perform advanced troubleshooting on PLC-driven systems, drives, and robotics (in collaboration with automation engineers). Analyze root causes of recurring failures and recommend permanent solutions. Mentor and train junior and intermediate technicians. Coordinate with engineering to improve equipment design and reliability. Act as field leader in the absence of a Supervisor. Performance Expectations Reduce repetitive failures (improve MTBF). Demonstrate high technical expertise in at least one specialization (mechanical, electrical, automation). Manage small maintenance projects and coordinate teams effectively. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with CMMS software (Work Orders, Preventive Maintenance schedules). Basic to advanced PLC troubleshooting knowledge (AllenBradley, Siemens). Experience with conveyors, robots, chillers, compressors, or packaging equipment. Welding, machining, or fabrication skills (a plus). Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred in certain locations. Experience: 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance. Advanced troubleshooting (mechanical/electrical). Leadership and mentoring skills. Hiring Requirements: Valid identification that proves your right to work in the United States.
