BSA Quality Testing Analyst II

Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX seeking a BSA Testing Analyst responsible for ensuring compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations through rigorous quality testing and review processes. This role involves evaluating the work performed by BSA Operations employees, identifying deficiencies, and recommending improvements to maintain regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.nnKey Responsibilities:nQuality Assurance & Testing:n Review and grade work completed by BSA Compliance Operations using established grading scriptsn Validate processes related to Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs), and fraud-related investigationsn Conduct quality testing of alert scenarios, systemic alerts, and manual referralsnnCompliance & Investigation:n Ensure adherence to BSA, AML, OFAC, and USA PATRIOT Act requirementsn Analyze transactional data to detect and prevent money laundering and terrorist financing activitiesn Refer unusual or out-of-pattern activity for further investigation and potential regulatory reportingnnReporting & Documentation:n Document findings and report outcomes to managementn Provide written feedback to internal teams and propose process improvementsn Maintain accurate records of quality reviews and testing resultsnnCollaboration & Continuous Improvement:n Work closely with compliance teams to enhance workflows and efficiencyn Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practicesn Recommend solutions to monitor, detect, or prevent illicit activities
