Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.As part of a hardworking team of engineers, you willfacilitateconfiguration development and integrationofNew Glenn's Upper Stage and Payload Accommodations (GS2PA)for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects ofGS2PASystem Design. You will integrate between sub-systems to define the best design solutions across the vehicle structural, mechanical, fluids and electrical subsystems. You willassistin configuration management and in Engineering Change Requests (ECR's). You will create and manage multiple vehicle configurations and ensure they supportdown streammaterial requirement planning.We are looking for someone to apply their technicalexpertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positivelyimpactsafe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision isrequiredMinimum Qualifications:B.S. degree in engineering and at least 5 years of experience in the development and packaging of large structural support equipment used in oil/gas,aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structuresDemonstrated configuration control experience on recently developed large support equipment used in oil/gas,aircraft, or launch vehicles from early trade studies through final design, and into manufacturing and testStrong interpersonal and teamwork skills and experience working in a highly integrated cross-functional team environmentStrong designand integration skills using 3-D CAD software and visualization toolsDemonstrated knowledge of scheduling and planning principles and toolsPreferred Qualifications:B.S. degree in engineering and at least 10 years of experience or M.S. degree in engineering and at least 8yearof experienceStrong GD&T skills and experience with large tolerance stack-up analysisExperience using PTC Creo and WindchillParticipated in a recognized configuration management training (CMII)Knowledge of aerospace vehicle fabrication and assembly techniques and related quality control conceptsAbility to interpret and apply high-level system requirements to practical design solutionsCompensation Range for:WA applicants is $121,023.00 - $169,432.20Other site ranges may differCulture StatementDon't meet all desired requirements?
