A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an IT Technician I.n n Position type: Full-time, Contractn Location: Grand Rapids, MI- 49512 (On-site)n Duration: 12 months (possible extension)n n Job Description:n Summary:n We are currently hiring an IT Technician who will be a member of the customer-facing team of the IT organization, providing local IT support services in a self-directed manner that is focused on meeting team goals and the goals of the IT organization. An IT Technician is responsible for daily break/fix activities, user request fulfillment, PC setup and deployments to end users, and onsite support for other infrastructure teams. This position supports multiple sites over a few-mile radius. Candidate must be willing to drive between supported locations.n n Key Competencies:n Self-motivated and able to work with limited directionn Must possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsn Will be required to interact with a wide range of usersn Must be able to organize work to meet objectivesn Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a team settingn Success working in cross functional teamsn Experience in effective relationship/conflict managementn Customer servicen User incident and request ticketing systems (ServiceNow Preferred)n Remote Supportn Multitasking with prioritizationn n Responsibilities:n Onsite break/fix support in both office and manufacturing environments (PC's/multifunction printers/barcode scanners).n Ongoing operational responsibilities for defined solutions.n Perform technical, administrative, and support work in the installation and operation of new and existing PC systems.n Execute defined client computing lifecycle processes.n Assist with support of business/sector specific infrastructure.n Assist with support and hands on activities of network and server infrastructure.n Troubleshoot, assist, and work with other IT team members to resolve user support issues.n Follow and promote defined ticket management procedures including the use of standard ticket management tools.n Work as part of a team to deploy defined technology solutions to physical location and business users.n Provide user training when necessary.n n Qualifications:n Bachelor's or Associates degree in IT related field or equivalent years of experience in an IT career.n Broad technical IT knowledge and awareness of industry trendsn Operational Excellence - Root Cause Analysis, process, risk reduction, security and controls, change managementn Advanced troubleshooting skillsn Relationship management and conflict resolution managementn Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10, Windows 11)n Microsoft Office Suiten Microsoft Software (SharePoint, Teams, Visio)n Printer Desktop/Multifunction (Xerox and Zebra) , PC Hardware troubleshooting (Dell)n n Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration n This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.n Please hit APPLY to provide the required information, and we will be back in touch as soon as possible.n We are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar positions.
