Senior Associate Researcher

Lead the design and integration of a contextual Agentic AI framework, applying probabilistic context modeling and knowledge graph driven personalization to adapt system responses to user profiles, with constrained natural language generation ensuring accuracy and safety. Design geospatial AI workflows for analyzing multispectral and radar satellite imagery to model landslide susceptibility, integrating environmental parameters with geospatial statistical models. Coordinate with the business units to develop Proof-of Concept systems demonstrating predictive capabilities for disaster risk management. Collaborate with international research teams to develop a cross-border geospatial analytics platform for monitoring terrain instability. Develop satellite-derived elevation models, temporal change detection algorithms, and cloud-based geospatial databases to refine the Landslide Susceptibility Index across multiple countries. Design and implement a hybrid semantic-lexical retrieval engine combining transformer-based embeddings with BM25 ranking to deliver contextually accurate, verifiable information to large language models and AI agents. Develop prototype systems to evaluate factual grounding performance across multiple knowledge domains. Engineer the end-to-end data infrastructure for scalable structured AI applications, including distributed data storage, real-time ingestion pipelines, and API-based access layers. Design modular microservices to support rapid deployment and scaling of AI-powered features in production environments. Lead technical mentorship for research interns across domains such as visual similarity, clinical intelligence, and Agentic AI evaluation. Enhance algorithms for ongoing research projects. Design machine learning algorithms using deep neural networks for data analysis. Build several analytic engines and system solutions to process and analyze big data and support various applications in detection, prediction, and optimization. These advanced analysis engines must be applicable for mining time series data, complex event processing, graph mining, parallel and distributed mining, and stream mining. Apply machine learning and deep neural network findings in integrated systems. Develop machine-based approaches in the areas of variational inference, multiscale shrinkage, time domain averaging, cross-domain multitask learning, dynamic rank-factor modeling, and algorithmic learning.
